MBA Mortgage Applications off Again

Applications came off a bit again yet year over year still very strong.

Highlights The purchase index posted a fourth straight weekly decline of 2.0 percent yet is still 26.0 percent above its year-ago level, in what is still one of the most telling measurements of this year's housing surge. The refinance index edged 0.2 percent higher in the latest week that saw the average rate for 30-year conforming loans edge to 3.02 percent from 3.00 percent.
