Medical Madness or Common Sense?

Despite being on the COVID-19 task force, Anthony Fauci and President Trump haven’t always been eye-to-eye on many issues.

The latest development is bound to set them on a collision course and the good doctor is unmovable in his beliefs.

Fauci is set to appear before the Senate committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions on Tuesday via video.

According to Fauci, he will advise the committee that reopening the economy too soon could cause ‘needless suffering and death.’

He added, ‘The major message that I wish to convey… is the danger of trying to open the country prematurely. If we skip over the checkpoints in the guidelines to ‘Open America Again,’ then we risk the danger of multiple outbreaks throughout the country.’

A familiar face at the daily government briefings on the pandemic, Fauci will have a rare moment before the public without Trump by his side.
